This post shows how to export a MySQL database with SQLyog then import it back to another MySQL server.
Steps:
Export MySQL Database
1. Start SQLyog
2. Tools > Backup Database As SQL Dump ...
3. in the SQL Dump dialog, choose options or keep default
a) Export as SQL
b) Database name
c) Export to file (file location)
d) Objects
e) Options having on source
f) Options written to file
4. click Export.
Import MySQL Database
1. Start SQLyog
2. Tools > Execute SQL Script...
3. Browse the exported SQL File
4. Click Execute.
Done!!
